HBO's Entourage is Obama's favorite TV show, Politico reports. Lest we forget, that show's Ari Gold was inspired by real-life agent Ari Emanuel, the brother of Obama's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.So how much does Obama like Entourage? Well, he prioritized it over his campaign duties.
"[W]e would have these Sunday night calls at the same time as Entourage," press secretary Robert Gibbs said. "I remember one time I e-mailed him because the call was scheduled for the last 15 minutes of Entourage and I said, 'Just be late and we can just watch href="http://www.dvdcollects.com/products/Entourage-Seasons-1-5-DVD-Boxset-DVDS-1505.html">Entourage and still get on and do the call. And it worked. We got to see Entourage."
The commander-in-chief was also a fan of HBO's underappreciated and now-defunct The Wire. Last year, he named Omar, a gay drug dealer, as his favorite character because he's "fascinating."
